2023-2024 Kite Campaign logo
The Kite Campaign is our annual ask to the community to come together and raise funds for the 30 programs and services that we provide to help children and their families cope.

Mason is asking for your support to help him and his family cope with the life-changing news that he was diagnosed with Leukemia.

When a child is diagnosed, families receive a medical roadmap from the hospital with an understanding of their treatment plan. What’s not clear is how they will navigate and cope with their new normal. Mason and his family are experiencing first-hand the fear, uncertainty and isolation that makes this journey so difficult. They have looked towards the Children’s Cancer Center for the necessary support to cope with these challenges.

Your gift today will provide Mason and over 5,000 other local children and family members with the emotional, financial and educational support necessary to beat pediatric cancer.

The Children’s Cancer Center’s Oncology Family Connection Group and other programs and services have provided Mason and his family fellowship and connection, reminding them that they are not alone in this fight.

We have been granted a match from Simon M. Canasi, executor of the Adele S. Burnett Memorial Fund, in honor of Anthony, a fighter of Osteosarcoma. Thanks to this local donor who understands the effects that cancer has on teens, the first $25,000 raised will be matched!

This holiday season, we humbly ask that you join us by making a tax-deductible gift in support of Mason and other children battling pediatric cancer - because kids should fly kites, not fight cancer.
