Dear friend,
The Children's Cancer Center has been with Millie and our family through 6 years of cancer treatment for Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma- from the very first “Love Bundle” she received at the hospital when she was 4 years old, to her most recent experience at the Summer Kite Camp. Whether celebrating the end of a treatment, or sharing in the heartache from the news of new tumor growth, the Children’s Cancer Center has always been there for us.
We are so excited that the Children’s Cancer Center is continuing to grow into the Sarasota area. Now, children and families across the Gulf Coast of Florida will be able to receive the support they need from the Children's Cancer Center's 24 support programs. From music therapy, art therapy, family counseling, and Summer Camp, to bereavement services, and financial assistance, the Children’s Cancer Center has something for every member of the family.
This holiday season I am asking you to join us in support of the Children’s Cancer Center, and their mission over the last 45 years - to serve families of children who are battling cancer or chronic blood disorders with the emotional, financial, and educational support necessary to cope with their life-threatening illness.
My granddaughter Millie has a motto that she lives by - “Today is the best day ever!” The Children’s Cancer Center has given such joy and provided so many opportunities for Millie to have "the best day ever”. Please, give generously this Holiday season so that every child in our community can share in that very same joy. Thank you for your kindness and support.

With over 24 support programs and services currently helping over 1,000 families, support is offered to all members of the family and is available throughout every step of their difficult journey.
