I believe that when life gives us the strength and stability to stand on solid ground, we have a responsibility to reach back and support those who can’t. I choose to support the Children’s Cancer Center because it hits close to home: both my nephew and my mom battled cancer, and thanks to the care they received at cancer hospitals, they are now in remission. Giving back through events like this is a small way to honor that journey and help ensure other families get the same chance at healing and hope.
