A Message From Alex Dary
My name is Alex Dary , and I’m a junior at Alonso High School. I am participating and fundraising for this particular event , because my little sister was diagnosed with leukemia when I was in 5th grade and while she was fighting her battle , we had the blessing of being introduced to the Children’s Cancer Center , who helped us in many ways from sending us to Lightning Games , concerts and even Fashion Shows , to Thursday night hangouts and celebrations at the beach and seasonal festivals. Thanks to them, we were able to lose the focus of Maddie having cancer and be able to enjoy life in the moment as it is. This is my second year doing this plunge , and although I have a shorter time span this year , i am still aiming to reach my goal and would appreciate it if you guys could help me on that mission!!
