Brad now coaches for one of the largest running clubs in Florida, Run Tampa.

For Brad's 52nd birthday, Brad has given himself a challenge for the community to support the Children's Cancer Center. Brad has challenged himself to run 10 miles a day for 52 consecutive days. This is the 3rd year in a row Brad has dedicated his birthday to running, and fundraising for local children and their families of the Children's Cancer Center.

This year's challenge asks for 52 donations of $10 dollars per day, for the entirety of the 52 days. Achieving his goal will mean that Brad raised over $25,000 for the Children's Cancer Center.

The Children’s Cancer Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children and their families who are battling cancer or chronic blood disorders with the emotional, financial, and educational support necessary to cope with their life-threatening illness.

With 29 support programs and services currently helping over 1,000 children and their families, support is offered to all members of the family and is available throughout every step of their difficult journey.

Children’s Cancer Center was founded in 1974. Mac and Cecile Burnett, who lost their daughter Helen to leukemia, and Dr. Janifer M. Judisch envisioned an organization that would help alleviate the stress of coping with a child’s life-threatening disease.

The philosophy of our original founders was that when a child is diagnosed, the entire family is really diagnosed. Therefore, our programs and services address the needs of all family members affected.
